Not too impressed with the quality of the videos. They are from 1990s. I used to do all these in my 30s -50 years old with no problem. I advanced from beginner to advanced. Loved doing step. Thought perhaps the might be more age appropriate for me. They are not. That said,
I do appreciate kathy Smith and her workouts. I am not able to do some of them, my body and arthritis do not allow me, It causes me too much pain. She is blessed to be able to workout like she does . I am not able to do that anymore

I love Kathy Smith! I have always trusted her and her workouts. No matter how many times I may have branched out and tried other instructors, I always come back to Kathy. The workouts are safe, fun, effective, and I feel like I'm working out with an old and dear friend!

I did Kathy Smith's Power Step and Great Buns and Thighs with my sister in the early nineties. I made a decision to go back to an exercise program that had proven results; however, my VHS tapes were in poor condition. I did Power Step a few times and the condition worsened. I had no idea if there were ever DVD made so I went exploring on the internet. I can't tell you what a wonderful surprise it was to not only find the DVDs but also find that Kathy was still at it; helping and encouraging women to stay fit. I wish I had not lost all the years between then and now as my mountain would not be so high to climb but I am encouraged and hope that in a few years I will look half as good as Kathy does now. I plan to find her podcasts and listen to those as well.
Thank you Kathy for proving staying active and strong after fifty is possible- progress not perfection.

Hadn’t done a step workout in years. Decided to buy a step because I have upcoming hip replacement surgery, thought it would be helpful when it’s time for rehab. I’ve done a couple of the workouts and was immediately humbled- had to drop from two risers to one! These workouts are no joke! Have set a goal of getting back to 3 risers after surgery as my rehab progresses. These workouts are a fantastic complement to any workout regimen; so glad to be back on the step!

I have been stepping with Kathy Smith since 1992 and just replaced my vhs tapes with dvds. Love her vitality and enthusiasm in each dvd. Great work outs.

I love all of Kathy's workout tapes. I've had her Lean Walk 1, 2 an 3 tapes since it was released on cassette tape. I used them on my portable sony cassette tape player!. I found a way to get them to my iPod years ago now they're on my iPhone. I still use them. Being in the house during the pandemic, I purchased a new stepper and the step workout tapes. Love them.
And the indoor walking tape video on-line is now my all time favorite!!! Great work out with a timeless instructor.

I haven't used the Step DVD's a whole lot due to hot weather and my bad knees, but I can see how they are great for exercise...

Kathy Smith Step DVDs provide the most rigorous workouts. I feel fit, strong, and toned because of the Kathy Smith Step DVDs.
